TEMECULA, Riverside County — November 4, 2026. Three Temecula Valley Unified School District trustee-area contests show distinct early leaders after November 3 voting.

Preliminary numbers from the county

In Area 2, Emil Roger Barham leads Brian Emmert 53.28% to 46.72%. Area 3 has Karen Poznanski ahead of Ronda Bowen 60.14% to 39.86%. Area 4 shows David Sola with 53.55% and Joseph Komrosky with 46.45%.

What these early results mean

The races involve school governance, not the Temecula City Council. Each trustee area is counted separately; the leading shares remain provisional while Riverside County processes outstanding ballots.

Riverside County reported that election-night counting had finished while an estimated 485,000 vote-by-mail ballots and 11,000 conditional-registration ballots remained to be counted countywide. Those countywide totals do not specify how many ballots are still outstanding in this particular contest. Check the registrar’s latest posting for changes before concluding who won or whether a measure passed.
