TEMECULA, Riverside County — The city’s 2026 holiday program starts its late-November public celebrations with Santa’s Arrival on Friday, November 27, followed by the annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Monday, November 30.
Santa’s Arrival: November 27
Temecula lists Santa’s Arrival from 6 to 9 p.m. at Pennypickle’s Workshop in Old Town. The official holiday page says Santa will return for weekend visits from November 28 through December 20, with Saturday visits listed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday visits from 1 to 4 p.m. Attendance and any booking conditions should be checked before travel.
Tree lighting: November 30
The city’s tree lighting is scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Temecula Duck Pond. The description mentions festive music, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa. Organizers may adjust the detailed program or available amenities, so residents should follow official updates.
These are separate events on different days. People planning to travel into Old Town should allow for holiday traffic and check the municipality’s event notices for parking and accessibility information. The city also has an Electric Light Parade scheduled for December 4, but that parade is not part of the November 30 tree-lighting ceremony.
